Michael Beck serves as Chief Administrative Office of Mission Hospital Laguna Beach, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer. In this role, Beck is responsible for the overall planning, development, coordination, implementation and management of all administrative functions, services and business development for the Laguna Beach campus. He will ensure the delivery of high-qulaity, cost-effective patient care consistent with the mission and values of Mission Hospital, resulting in patient care at Laguna Beach reaching the highest levels of quality and service.

Terri Covert
Vice President, Human Resources

Terri Covert has been with Mission Hospital since 2002, where she came from St. Joseph Hospital. From the moment she joined Mission Hospital, Covert’s steady judgment and passionate advocacy for the dignity and development of our staff has had a lasting, positive impact on the culture at Mission Hospital. Covert’s responsibilities include the HR staff, Occupational Health and HR operations, as well as the primary liaison with the health system HR team.

Sister Martha Ann Fitzpatrick
Vice President, Advocacy & Ministry Formation

For more than 60 years, Sister Martha Ann Fitzpatrick, a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, Congregation of St. Joseph (CSJ), has provided both professional and spiritual guidance for the health and well-being of the communities she has served. She came to Mission Hospital in 1994 when it was acquired by the St. Joseph Health. Initially serving as the hospital’s Vice President of Sponsorship, Sister Fitzpatrick has played an integral role in the formation of Mission Hospital’s healthcare ministry for nearly 15 years. She is responsible for the advocacy of health issues in the community the hospital serves. She also serves as a faculty member of Mission and Mentoring a system-wide program that aims to develop and form employees to carry on the mission and values of the Catholic health ministry.

Eileen Haubl
Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

A 24-year veteran of the St. Joseph Health, Eileen Haubl, CPA, was promoted to the position of VP and Chief Financial Officer in 2012. She is responsible for managing all aspects of Mission Hospital's financial, budgetary and accounting functions across both campuses, Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach. She is also responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Revenue Cycle, Information Technology, Clinical Informatics, Patient Access, Care Management, Supply Chain & Materials Management, Health Information Services, Property Management and all Hospital Joint Ventures & their related operations and financial performance.

Interim Chief Nursing Officer

Linda Jenkins comes to Mission Hospital with over 20 years of leadership positions, including several nursing executive, Quality Management and Clinical Management positions. Jenkins is responsible for organizing, planning, directing and evaluating our nursing services. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Linda provides leadership to guide our nursing staff to achieve our goals and ensure the highest levels of patient care is provided. Linda will also have oversight so we sustain our Magnet designation.

Vice President, Mission Integration

Cindy Mueller serves as Vice President of Mission Integration at Mission Hospital and Mission Hospital Laguna Beach. In her role, she is responsible for integrating the mission and values of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange into the hospital’s daily operations and providing oversight to improve the health and quality of life within the community. Mueller focuses her efforts on inspiring a healing ministry within Mission Hospital and beyond. She works closely with the St. Joseph Health and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange to ensure the health system’s strategic goals are woven into all aspects of care for the dear neighbor through education, compassionate care and access to affordable healthcare.

As the Chief Executive of Mission Hospital, Tarek Salaway is responsible for the strategic direction and effective operations of the hospital, an essential ministry of St. Joseph Health. With a focus on meeting the needs of a growing community with excellent clinical outcomes and service, Salaway will expand Mission Hospital’s efforts to improve the health and well-being of those we serve, including the poor and most vulnerable with dignity, compassion and excellence. As a seasoned health care leader, Salaway brings extensive experience in large community hospitals and health systems as well as academic medical centers. He has served most recently as COO of Mission Hospital.

Linda Sieglen, MD, MMM
Chief Medical Officer

Chief Medical Officer Linda Sieglen, MD, MMM, joined Mission Hospital in October 2013. Dr. Sieglen serves an instrumental role in providing effective leadership and partnering with Mission Hospital physicians to foster our strategic transformation into an integrated health care delivery system. Dr. Sieglen began her career in 1987 at Princeton health care System in New Jersey, where she most recently held the position as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs. From 1996 to 2008, she was the Chair of the Department of Anesthesia and the President of Princeton Anesthesia Services.

Terry Wooten serves as Vice President of Operations – Support Services reporting directly to the Chief Executive. Wooten is responsible for overall planning, development, coordination, implementation, and management of all administrative functions, services, and related business development activities. He is focused on ensuring high levels of customer service, strong physician partnerships and an engaged workforce in the delivery of care and services. Over the last 20 years, Wooten has held a variety of roles within the St. Joseph Health System most recently as Vice President of Clinical Supply Chain for St. Joseph Health.
