Light Up a Life raised more than $25,000 in support of hospice and palliative care services at Mission Hospital

Mission Viejo, CA – The 21st Annual Light Up a Life tree lighting celebration raised more than $25,000 in December. The funds will support hospice and palliative care services at Mission Hospital.

This beloved celebration invites family members and friends to place an ornament on the Mission Hospital Tree of Lights in honor or memory of a friend, loved one or caregiver. The event included beautiful harp music provided by the Orange County Harp Troupe, coordinated by Mission Hospital physician, Dr. Hitome Momose, and vocals by Mission Hospital nurses Marne Andersen and Stephanie Salgado.

Mission’s Palliative Care program serves patients, and their families, who are faced with serious illnesses that require pain management and symptom control often related to cancer, cardiovascular issues or other complex, chronic conditions.

Tribute gifts are accepted throughout the year. Please visit or contact the foundation at (949) 364-7783 for more information.
