Swenson Family Pediatric Operating Pavilion

Built in 2005 in collaboration with CHOC Children's at Mission Hospital, this specialized care unit provides a dedicated surgical pavilion just for children. The facility offers a separate pediatric waiting area and a Child Life Specialist on hand to ease the anxiety of children who are undergoing surgery, as well as their parents. Jim and Susan Swenson made a generous $1 million donation to help construct the Pediatric Operating Pavilion.
