Zimmer Neuroscience Wing
The construction of the Zimmer Neuroscience Wing in Mission's new Patient Care Tower 2 was made possible by a generous $5 million donation by Nancy Williams whose son Adam's life was saved at Mission after a traumatic brain injury (TBI). On the Zimmer Neuroscience Wing, the latest equipment will use molecular and 3-D imaging to treat neurological injuries and conditions. The new diagnostic equipment will collectively combine digital images on a single screen, allowing physicians to view the inner workings of the human brain like never before. These tools will aid Mission's traumatic brain injury (TBI) protocols already in use that earned the hospital a Codman award for excellent outcomes in treating TBIs.
