Holiday Gala Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for volunteers!

Mission Hospital Foundation is grateful for the community's gifts of time that help make the annual Holiday Gala such a success. Volunteer opportunities for this exciting event may include:

  • Directional Hosts - Strategically placed throughout the venue to assist guests.
  • Silent Auction Security - Provide information and generate interest for auction items. Assist with a timely closing of the auction.
  • Live Auction Spotters - Assist the auctioneer in identifying bidders.
  • Live Auction/Challenge/Silent Auction Runners - Collect payment and donations during auction. Deliver auction items to winning bidders.
  • Silent Auction Packaging and Pick Up - Packaging auction items. Retrieving items for pick up.
  • Registration - Check in guests, provide seating details and bidding information for silent auction.

This black-tie event requires holiday attire. All shifts run between two and five hours and require you to be on your feet most of that time. We welcome people of all ages to volunteer, but due to the nature of the event, all volunteers must be at least 16 years of age or 21 years of age to perform some roles. Parking is complimentary for volunteers.
