Volunteer at the THINK PINK Breast Health Wall of Honor!
Throughout the month of October, Valiant Women hosts the Breast Health
Wall of Honor at The Shops at Mission Viejo (lower level adjacent to Cheesecake
Factory) in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Wall of Honor and our volunteers create awareness about the importance
of early detection and raises funds to support the uninsured and underinsured.
The community has the opportunity to honor a breast cancer patient or
survivor by making a donation to place an Honor Card on the Wall or to
underwrite the cost of a diagnostic procedure or mammogram. All proceeds
go directly to Mission Hospital’s Women’s Wellness Center.
As a volunteer at the Wall of Honor, you will be answering questions about
the campaign, selling Honor Cards and Think Pink merchandise and meeting
the most amazing people honoring survivors and remembering those they
have lost. It is a very moving experience to be involved with the Wall.
During your shift, no staff will be present, so it is important that you
attend one of the two training sessions at the Wall of Honor on
Tuesday, October 4.
