Diabetes Education Programs
Recognizing that diabetes is an ongoing, yet manageable disease, Mission Hospital provides diabetes education series for patients and their loved ones.
Managing Your Diabetes
The Diabetes Education series may be taken in any order or individually, and are meant to build on each other. Classes are $15 each and registration is required.

Free Lectures and Support Group
In addition to the diabetes education series, educational lectures are offered throughout the year on special topics relating to diabetes. Lectures are free to anyone interested in learning more.

Individual Nutrition Counseling
Counseling is available with a registered dietitian on a fee-per-visit basis. The initial session is one hour, with follow-up sessions available at an additional charge. Family members or support persons are encouraged to attend.

Camino Health Center Diabetes Van
Like Camino Health Center, the van is dedicated to caring for medically underserved individuals in south Orange County. Services available on the diabetes van include: treatment by a physician, glucose screenings, blood pressure readings, and health/diabetes education.
