Laguna Beach Emergency Department
Our Laguna Beach, Emergency Department is fully equipped with highly trained doctors and cutting-edge medical technologies to treat even the most critical, fatal injuries. Staffed with board-certified doctors and highly qualified nursing staff, Mission Hospital at Laguna Beach can be trusted to provide all patients with the highest standards of care and treatment.
Mission Viejo Emergency Department
The Emergency Department of Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo provides complete patient care. Our highly specialized staff of physicians, nurses and other support personnel offers some of the most trusted medical treatments in the region.
We also feature eight acute-care beds with ECG monitoring. ECG monitoring technology provides us with critical clinical information about our acute care patients and their medical needs. With the monitoring capabilities of our acute-care beds, we can accurately assess the health of our patients and treat them accordingly.
We proudly offer specialized treatment rooms for the following:
- Ear, nose and throat
- Obstetrics and gynecology
- Chest pain

Community Emergency Care
Our Emergency Department also works closely with paramedics in the field to provide exceptional medical direction in an emergency and to direct patients to the most appropriate hospital. Our community emergency care department is also a designated Receiving Center that evaluates patients for further treatment, as well as a designated training site for new paramedics.
Helping patients and families through the stress and uncertainty of an emergency room visit, our helpful concierge acts as a liaison and resource. These specially trained professionals provide support during complicated and emotional times by sharing information, answering questions and communicating among caregivers to help achieve treatment goals and deliver optimum quality care.
