Designated Cardiac Receiving Center
Orange County Emergency Medical Services named Mission Hospital as a designated
Cardiac Receiving Center. When time is critical, Mission Hospital has
the experts to treat heart attacks in minutes, leading to better outcomes
and saved lives.
Emergency Chest Pain Center
Early recognition of the signs and symptoms of a heart attack can save
lives, and our Chest Pain Center can diagnose and provide treatment in
as little as 30 minutes, significantly improving the chance of a positive outcome.
Edward and Ann Muldoon Cardiac Center
The highly advanced Muldoon Cardiac Center houses our state-of-the-art
Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) and Cardiac Telemetry Units.
Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
All 27 private rooms in our CICU offer spacious, comfortable settings with
windows that allow natural light and external views, promoting relaxation
to aid in recovery. Bedside nursing stations provide access to all the
monitoring equipment, medical supplies and patient information necessary
to allow nurses to remain with their patients.
Cardiac Telemetry Unit
Our 34-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit provides personalized care for patients
in stable condition who are recovering from a cardiac condition or procedure
such as open-heart surgery, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, a heart
attack or abnormal heart rhythm. Each of the private and semi-private
rooms features windows with external views.
