Mission Hospital's new state-of-the-art Tower for advanced patient care opens Fall 2009. This four-story, 94,000-square-foot patient tower will be home to a full array of advanced diagnostic imaging services.
Joe Gagliardo, Executive Director of Medical Imaging and Innovative Technologies, says that when the new imaging and diagnostic unit opens, it will be "the most innovative imaging unit in the world."
What Imaging Equipment Will the New Patient Tower Feature?
The newly transformed unit will include the following Imaging and Diagnostic equipment:
- Dual Source CT
- PET/CT
- 3T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) high field
- Linear Accelerator
- Bi-plane Angiography suite
- Ultrasound Doppler
- Radiography Fluoroscopy R/F (2 suites)
- Nuclear Medicine (SPECT/Gamma): 1 Gamma, 1 SPECT CT
