Cardiac care is the fastest-growing service at Mission Hospital. Heart attacks are occurring at younger ages than ever before, and baby boomers, the nation’s largest generation, are increasingly at risk.
Opened in 2002 on the fourth floor of the hospital tower, the $14 million Muldoon Cardiac Center features a state-of-the-art Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) with 27 private rooms. The new CICU offers maximum comfort for patients and provides the highest quality of care. The second wing contains 34 telemetry beds for the CICU patients as they “step down” into private and semi-private beds.
