Designated Cardiac Receiving Center
Mission Hospital has been selected as a designated Cardiac Receiving Center, by the Orange County Emergency Medical Services, which manages the county’s emergency response systems (paramedics, fire, 9-1-1, and more). They know when time is critical, Mission Hospital has the experts to treat heart attacks in minutes, leading to better outcomes and saved lives and this designation puts us on the forefront of emergency cardiac care.

Emergency Chest Pain Unit
Knowing early recognition of the signs and symptoms of heart attack can save lives, our Emergency Chest Pain Unit can get cardiac patients diagnosed and into treatment in as little as 30 minutes, significantly improving the chance of a positive outcome.
