Mission Hospital Telecare service can offer a greater sense of personal security to those living by themselves. Telecare is a free service that allows people living alone to have outside daily contact with a Mission Hospital volunteer. Every day a volunteer will phone the home of each Telecare member. The reason for the call is to assure their safety and well being. If a need should arise, the Telecare volunteer will take the necessary steps to investigate the need.
