Spinal disorders including cervical and lumbar disc herniations, sciatica, cervical and lumbar spinal stenosis, pediatric and adult scoliosis. Minimally-invasive treatment of neck and back problems. Less-invasive approaches to hip and knee arthritis and joint replacements.
Philosophy of Care:
Dr. Ashkenaze believes in helping people live happier, healthier lives. He feels the intellectual challenge of science and medicine is stimulating. He enjoys being able to get to know each person, helping them understand and successfully treat their illnesses. He treats each person as if they were a family member.
Reason for Choosing This Field of Medicine:
Orthopaedic surgery is a constantly evolving field that allows me to treat many conditions either medically or through minimally-invasive approaches and moreso than in other areas of medicine, return people to their full state of health and activity. This is very satisfying to me.
