“Think Pink” Donations from Breast Health Wall of Honor

Mission Viejo, CA – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mission Hospital’s Valiant Women support group will host its ninth annual Think Pink Breast Health Wall of Honor, presented by Capistrano Volkswagen, Clarient, A GE Healthcare Company and Pacific Rim Capital, Inc. at The Shops at Mission Viejo. Throughout the month of October, the Breast Health Wall of Honor will be on display in Center Court (lower level) where shoppers can donate $25 to place a hand-written card on the Wall display in honor of a loved one or in remembrance of someone with breast cancer. Donations can also be made to underwrite the cost of a mammogram or diagnostic procedure ($100) for someone who could not otherwise afford it. Thanks to the community’s Spirit of Giving, the Wall of Honor generated net proceeds of more than $45,000 last year to benefit Mission Breast Health Services in treatment of breast cancer in our community.

Brighton Collectibles, at The Shops at Mission Viejo, will be selling their special Power of Pink bracelet while supplies last, with $10 from each purchase going to Mission Breast Health Services.

Mission Breast Health Services is dedicated to providing women with preventive measures as well as offering a complete breast health program to diagnose and treat breast cancer with expertise, compassion and support.
