New Patient Care Tower and Chapel
Completed in November 2009, Mission Hospital's new four-story, 94,000-square-foot Patient Care Tower 2 expands Mission's ability to care for critical patients with the most advanced diagnostic care. This expansion is possible thanks to support from Mission's caring family of donors who contributed $50 million toward its construction.
The first floor of Tower 2 will house next-generation diagnostic equipment using molecular imaging and the latest technology in MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and more. In addition to a state-of-the-art Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and neuroscience wing, a new Chapel will offer patients, their family and the community a sacred place for prayer and reflection.
