Linda Sieglen, MD, MMM

Chief Medical Officer Linda Sieglen, MD, MMM, joined Mission Hospital in October 2013. Dr. Sieglen serves an instrumental role in providing effective leadership and partnering with Mission Hospital physicians to foster our strategic transformation into an integrated health care delivery system.
Dr. Sieglen began her career in 1987 at Princeton health care System in New Jersey, where she most recently held the position as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs. From 1996 to 2008, she was the Chair of the Department of Anesthesia and the President of Princeton Anesthesia Services. She was also a member of the Board of Trustees for nine years and the first female at Princeton HealthCare System to serve as the President of Medical Staff. In her previous role, Dr. Sieglen acted as a key liaison between the medical staff, administration and the Princeton HealthCare System Board. Her leadership experience encompasses all aspects of medical affairs, with a strong emphasis in clinical care, patient safety, patient satisfaction and efficiency.
Dr. Sieglen attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and is board certified in Anesthesiology. She completed her residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, and recently earned a Master of Medical Management degree through the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Dr. Sieglen is actively involved in community activities and was honored as a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey. She is also a past recipient of the Princeton YWCA's Tribute to Women Award for her professional achievements and commitment to the community. Dr. Sieglen and her husband relocated to California when she accepted the Chief Medical Officer position at Mission Hospital.
