Always a sell-out, the Mission Hospital Golf Classic includes breakfast/lunch/dinner,

of Honor to create awareness for the importance of mammograms and raise
funds to support diagnostic care and treatment for breast cancer.

New York fashion models walk the runway at the annual Camino Health Center
Auxiliary Fashion Show and Luncheon. Presented by South Coast Plaza, the
event is rated among the most popular luncheons in Orange County with
nearly 500 in attendance including prominent physicians, community members
and business leaders. In 2017, the event raised net proceeds of $285,000.
Thanks to the Auxiliary's dream and vision, thousands of families with
nowhere else to turn for health care can rely on Camino. Many of the center's
patients have recently lost jobs, their health care insurance, their homes
and their sense of security. Camino provides hope and healing.
In addition to the fashion show, the event includes a gourmet lunch, premier
silent auction items and luxury raffles.
One of the most elegant and engaging events in Orange County, the Mission
Hospital Holiday Gala is a black-tie event featuring live entertainment
and dancing, live and silent auctions and incredible cocktails and food.
The Holiday Gala celebrates the Spirit of Giving of all those who support
Mission Hospital and highlights the significant ways in which philanthropy
enhances the lives of our patients, their families and the community.
Hosted by the Auxiliary of Mission Hospital, the annual Light Up a Life
tree lighting celebration is held to honor and remember friends, loved
ones and caregivers.
Through this celebration Mission Hospital is able to enhance hospice and
palliative care to include special services such as music therapy and
massage, to expand the bereavement program and to sponsor care for those
who are unable to pay for hospice services.
The event culminates in a moment of reflection as each person holds a votive
candles in the darkened room. Guests are invited to place an ornament
with a personal message on the tree. There are warm embraces, tears and
smiles as guests remember their loved ones.
