Inpatient Treatment Program

During inpatient rehabilitation, patients meet with our medical director, case manager, and members of the treatment team to develop an individualized treatment plan for recovery. The patient and their family play a significant role in developing this plan. Each program will include daily group therapy sessions to help "re-discover" the self that was lost to addiction and the joy of health and sobriety. Our treatment programs focus on education, the 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, and holistic therapies — giving the “whole” person the time, space, and support to heal and grow.

Group activities include:

  • 12-step groups
  • Medical aspects of addiction
  • Cognitive therapies
  • Experiential therapies
  • Holistic therapies
  • Chemical dependency education
  • Meditation
  • Yoga
  • Expressive arts
  • Daily walks, some on the beach
  • Recreation
  • Structured outings
  • Stress / anger management
  • Relapse prevention
  • Health and nutrition
  • Family counseling

Special Program Features

As a hospital-based program, we can accommodate patients who are medically compromised and in need of intensive nursing care.

Admission to our inpatient program is based upon a comprehensive assessment which evaluates all aspects of the patient's life, including social, relational, psychological, and substance use. Our inpatient program, also known as the Core Treatment program, consists of primary groups, specialty groups, and an educational recovery series that are given in daily small groups. Our model also offers additional sessions to patients, such as back-to-work conferences and individual family meetings. During our regular inpatient program, patients will also receive individual sessions with their primary therapist to help guide them through the beginning of their lifelong journey of recovery.

Upon admission, each patient is provided an individualized care program that addresses their needs.
