Clinical Trials and Researh for Stroke at Mission Hospital

Our doctors, nurses and caregivers are actively engaged in the latest clinical trials and research in the field of stroke and cerebrovascular diseases. Bringing ground-breaking multidisciplinary clinical trials for acute stroke treatment and secondary prevention of stroke to our patients is a priority of the research program.

We have a highly-experienced and dedicated research team working with doctors and nurses to enroll qualifying patients in clinical trials. Our partnership with academic, industry and pharmaceutical research programs, as well as the National Institute of Health StrokeNet Consortium ensures patients have access to the most advanced clinical and research trials close to home. Clinical trials participation also allows patients to share their medical information which leads to scientific advancements in the treatment of acute strokes.

We are currently participating in Clinical Trials and Research in the following areas:

  • Ischemic strokes

  • Hemorrhagic strokes

  • Cerebral aneurysm

  • Endovascular treatment for strokes

  • Neurovascular thrombectomy

  • Outcomes based on medical care received
