The National Breast Cancer Coalition
The National Breast Cancer Coalition is a grassroots advocacy effort in
the fight against breast cancer. In 1991, the Coalition was formed with
one mission - to eradicate breast cancer through action and advocacy.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world's largest and most progressive
grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists.
The Young Survival Coalition (YSC)
The only international, non-profit network of breast cancer survivors and
supporters dedicated to the concerns and issues that are unique to young
women and breast cancer. Through action, advocacy and awareness, the YSC
seeks to educate the medical, research, breast cancer and legislative
communities, and to persuade them to address breast cancer in women 40
and under. The YSC also serves as a point of contact for young women living
with breast cancer.
The YWCA of North Orange County empowers generations of women by addressing
their changing needs. Programs include free breast cancer early detection.
American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society
cancer.org offers a variety of support groups and services. Services include general
breast cancer information, treatment options, a catalog for wig and apparel,
and tips for those undergoing radiation therapy or chemotherapy. The Reach
to Recovery program links newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with
a "buddy" who is a breast cancer survivor. (800) ACS-2345 (Toll

The Wellness Community
The Wellness Community – An affiliate of the Cancer Support Community
The mission of The Wellness Community is to ensure that all people impacted
by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained
by community. All programs and services are provided free of charge.
